Can anyone tell me what would be a good (fair) price for a B1700 with front-end loader and brush hog. Has under 50 hours and appears to be near showroom condition. Thanks in advance.

I don't know how much instant depreciation to allow a tractor as it rolls out of the dealers lot, but as a starting point I can tell you that I bought my B1700 ( hydro, 4 wheel drive) with Kubota loader and ag tires for $13,500 in March of 1999. Governor Pataki added his 7% of course. Maybe a fair deal to you and the seller would be to say that his lesson ( bought the wrong tractor?) cost him $1,000, so you would pay $12,500 for the machine and also save the sales tax. I would consider that a fair deal IF the full warantee was transferable to you. If no warantee, the price would need to go way down.Just my idea, based on nothing but ccommon sense,PaulB ....
